Des silhouettes endormies sur des lits métalliques.... Ne vous y trompez pas, cette quiétude et sérénité apparentes des corps laissent entrevoir le mouvement des perceptions et des rêves, le tourment des émotions. Avec Parasomnia, le nouvel opus de Y.Project, Yohan Serfaty poursuit son exploration de la structure du vêtement.Vestes articulées, aux constructions fidèles à l'ADN de la marque, fermant par des crochets métalliques, manches étirées, cols surdimensionnés, pantalons à géométrie variable...

Virtuose de la coupe, Yohan Serfaty joue également avec les matières : textures contrastées - cuirs fins mais rigides contre peaux souples et extrêmement légères (kangourou de différentes finitions, renne souple...) ou textiles nobles toujours mais novateurs (coton craquant, voile de papier tissé...).La maille se développe entre des structures graphiques et matérielles, s'opposant aux légèretés des longs cardigans de coton plume. Les couleurs s'éclaircissent avec l'apparition de silhouettes immaculées, au milieu d'autres d'un noir profond et de camaïeux de gris - qui ont fait l'image de Y.Project.Une phase musicale (création originale du compositeur Alessandro Tinelli), happe le visiteur dans une semi transe hypnotique, une désorientation habile du temps et de l'espace, un état inconscient propre à la parasomnie.

Elongated and peacefully drowsy silhouettes... Behind the apparent serenity of the body, allow yourself to reach through to the torment of emotions, through the movement of perceptions.With Parasomnia, the latest opus from Y.Project, Yohan Serfaty continues his exploration of the structural elements of clothing. Articulated jackets, with trademark structuring true to the brand DNA, metal hook fastenings, elongated sleeves, over-sized collars, trousers in a variety of geometrical patterns...

A master tailor, Yohan Serfaty experiments with his choice of materials: contrasting textures - delicate yet stiff leathers are set against soft, super-light pelts (kangaroo in a range of finishes, soft reindeer...) also fine yet innovative fabrics (crisp cotton, woven paper cloth...)The knitwear takes form between graphic and material structures, contrasting with the lightness of long cardigans in feather cotton.The colours lighten with the introduction of clearly defined, verging-on-immaculate silhouettes, set amongst the deep blacks and shades of grey of other pieces - key elements to the Y.Project brand.A musical set/stage, vibrant and hypnotic, created by the Artist Alessandro Tinelli, guides us through the unconscious realm of parasomnia, in a subtle distortion of time and space.
